ChapmanCG appoints Stephanie Nash to the new role of Global Chief People Officer

Global HR executive search firm ChapmanCG today announced the appointment of Stephanie Nash to the new role of Chief People Officer to help drive the continued global expansion of the business.

The appointment of this role follows the recent strategic investment in ChapmanCG by Will Group, a listed company in Japan with revenues of approximately US$1 billion, to fuel further international growth.

Stephanie joins ChapmanCG from RedMart, which was acquired by Alibaba-backed Lazada, where she held the role of Chief People Officer and oversaw the growth of the Singapore-based technology and ecommerce platform.

Stephanie has more than two decades’ experience as a human resources leader working across the United States, Asia, Australia and South America. During this time, she served in senior HR roles for Fortune 500 companies, including as Vice President of Human Resources Asia-Pacific at Allergen, Senior Director Human Resources Asia Pacific at Microsoft, and Group Manager, Human Resources, Base Metals at BHP Billiton. Throughout her career, she has worked across a range of industries, business units, functional areas and geographies in local, multi-country and global capacities.

ChapmanCG CEO Ben Davies said: “As ChapmanCG continues to expand as the leading executive search firm for the HR profession, Stephanie’s extensive experience as a Chief People Officer will be critical to growing and developing our global organisation, and providing insights on HR trends to our global network.”

The Chapman Group comprises ChapmanCG and Chapman Ventures (ChapmanV). In addition to her ChapmanCG role, Stephanie will also take on the role of Global Head of ChapmanV and provide guidance across Matthew Chapman’s broader portfolio of business interests and innovations in human resources. This includes ChapmanV’s new global HR fund, which will invest in HR-focused start-ups, and the Global HR Exchange, which will be an online community for HR professionals.

Stephanie said: “ChapmanCG, together with Chapman Ventures, will provide the global HR community with a unique opportunity to bring together the next generation of HR standards through global talent, insights and technology. I am excited to be contributing to an organisation that is on the cutting edge of the future of HR, and being part of such a warm, talented and innovative global network.”

Matthew Chapman, Chairman, said: “With significant global HR experience, and a proven track record of driving high-performing teams and business growth, Stephanie will ensure the Chapman Group can continue to pave the way in providing thought leadership and unique insights into the human resources field for the global HR profession.”

Stephanie is originally from the United States, and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Management from Syracuse University, as well as a Diploma in Human Resources Management from the University of California, Berkeley.

She also serves as the President of the American Association of Singapore, General Committee Member of the American Club, and Co-Chair of the Human Capital Committee of the American Chamber of Commerce in Singapore.
