Putting People First Even Through Change
Developing and maintaining a company culture when dealing with change is challenging. But what happens when your company grows organically or through acquisition? New people and new processes become entangled between old and new approaches.
Transporeon, a Trimble company, is a major global digital freight platform with a network of over 1,400 shippers and over 150,000 carriers. They execute more than 110,000 transports daily on the platform and process around €55bn in freight spent per year.
Established in 2000 and headquartered in Ulm, Germany, they have 18 offices around the globe with over 1,400 employees across 27 countries.
Julia Shub is the CHRO, joining the team in 2020 and working with her HR team to bring new people through their expansion into the Transporeon culture. For this organisation, their people are everything to their business and the businesses the new employees have come from.
In their conversation, Julia shares with Stan the challenges they have faced through their acquisitions and how they have strived to maintain their People First approach to all they do.
