Inspiring a Learning Culture for Future Generations

Learning and Development is ever evolving, with the days of 'classroom' only learning long behind us. Though the use of technology has greatly increased accessibility, we can't ignore tried and tested methods including, for example mentoring programmes.

In this podcast, ChapmanCG Senior Director Vargin Yeke and Aye Wee, SVP, Head of Learning & Development and Organisational, Development at OCBC Bank discuss the merits of inspiring a learning culture for future generations.

Aye Wee heads up OCBC Campus – the only corporate city campus in Singapore. There, she and her team have have a mandate to nurture an organisation of lifelong learners. She is a firm believer in people development and the philosophy of growth and abundance. In her role of both Head of Learning & Development and Organisational, Development, she brings that passion to work everyday, inspiring and being inspired by her team to bring out the best in people.

Before she joined HR, Aye Wee spent eight years in Consumer Banking where she led teams in the Regional Contact Centre, Service Transformation and Customer Assurance. Prior to that, she was a part of Singapore Airlines, where she held positions in areas as diverse as Product Innovation, Corporate Sales, Customer Research and Marketing.
